At Helping Hands Network, our before school care and after school care programs are not your ordinary Outside School Hours Care.

Our morning programs are now called ‘Rise Then Shine’, the perfect start to your child’s school day. We set the tone for a great day at school through an array of energising activities and some delicious and nutritious food. From delightful breakfast moments, to calming morning meditations, we ensure they step into school ready to embrace the day!

The fun continues after school at our ‘Stay and Play’ afternoon programs. Kids can dive into more fun activities, building lasting friendships and creating memories beyond the classroom, all before heading home for quality family time.

The Adventure Program comprises of seven action-packed adventure categories. Backed by research into child development, and created in partnership with experts, the Adventure Program provides children with the opportunity to learn essential life skills and have great fun exploring their interests.
Each adventure category gives children the opportunity to develop life skills and explore their interests, all while having fun and creating friendships for life.
Let kids’ imaginations run wild as they unlock new skills with a range of activities packed with excitement. Whether it's whipping up tasty treats, getting sporty, or unwinding with yoga and mindfulness, our tailor-made adventures let kids do what they love and discover new interests!
Our adventure categories are specially created for children and the best part is that kids get to choose which adventure they would like to bring to life each day. Whether it's setting your child up for the school day ahead or helping them to unwind and connect with fellow kids and family after the last school bell rings, we think the will love going on an adventure with us.

Before and After School Care FAQs
If you’d like to find out more about our before and after school care programs, our helpful FAQ section here answers some of the questions we're most often asked by parents. If you still can't find the answers you need, please contact our friendly Customer Service team
Helping Hands Network team members are qualified as per National Quality Framework and Legislated Regulations and have demonstrated experience in working at OSHC services.
These qualifications are commonly:
Diploma of Children Services (OSHC)
Certificate III or IV in Children Services
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Teaching for Primary School Aged children
And so many more.
All team members employed by Helping Hands Network must provide the appropriate security checks before they are accepted.
On employment, all team members must provide a copy of a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), which we verify through the Department of Justice website.
Educators must also complete their qualifications in First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and Child Protection Training before working within our services.
We also provide opportunities for our team to improve on their skills and progress within the company with an internal LMS and external training based off the requirements of the community.
